What tech stacks and programming languages do you specialize in?

I specialize in modern web and mobile app development using PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, Vue.js, React, and TypeScript. I work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for database management and use React Native and Flutter to build cross-platform mobile applications. I also integrate AI-powered features, including LLM-based assistants, semantic search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to create intelligent, scalable, and high-performance applications.

How do you decide which technology to use for a new project?

I start with your business goals, users, budget, and the systems you already run. Then I choose the simplest technology that fits and that your team can maintain. I explain the options and trade-offs in plain language before we decide, so the choice is based on your needs and not on the latest trend.

Can you work with an existing codebase built by someone else?

Yes. I start by reviewing the code and listing the main risks, then we fix what matters most first. I can also extend an existing application with new features, APIs, integrations, and workflows while maintaining security, compatibility, and code quality.

What is your development and communication process?

Every project follows six phases: discovery and requirements, planning and architecture, UX/UI design, development, quality assurance and testing, and launch and support. In each phase you know what I do and what I need from you. The full breakdown is in the How I work section above.

How do you handle project management and daily updates?

I build feature by feature and share a running version early, so you can try it and give feedback as it grows. I track tasks in JIRA or a board of your choice, keep the code in Git and GitHub, and send progress updates in plain language, daily or weekly, depending on what suits the project.

Do you work solo or with a team/agency?

I work directly with you as an independent developer, with no agency layers in between. I plan and write the code myself. When a project needs more people, I can work alongside your own designers, testers, or developers, as I have done with teams in Switzerland and Australia.

Do you charge by the project (fixed price) or by the hour?

Both are possible. A fixed price works best when the scope is clear, and a longer contract suits a product that keeps evolving. My rates depend on the scope, complexity, and requirements, and I discuss the budget with you upfront before we begin.

What happens after the project is launched? Do you offer maintenance?

Yes. I provide 6 to 12 months of support after launch, covering bug fixes and minor adjustments. I can also help with updates, new features, and ongoing maintenance as your business grows.

What do you need from me (the client) to get started?

A short description of your goals, who will use the product, and when you need it, plus any documents, designs, or system access I need. A few lines are enough to begin, and I will ask for the rest during discovery.
