Website Speed Optimization & Technical SEO Services

A slow website loses visitors, and a website that search engines cannot properly crawl and understand can struggle to gain visibility. I optimize websites and web applications for speed, mobile performance, and technical SEO to deliver faster experiences and build a strong foundation for search visibility and user engagement. Every optimization is backed by 20+ years of development experience.

Speed and SEO together

Speed and SEO are really one job

People leave slow websites, and search engines notice. Google measures how fast your pages load, how quickly they respond to a click, and whether the layout jumps around while loading. A page that gets these right is easier to use, and it has a better chance in search results.

But speed alone is not enough. If search engines cannot crawl your pages, cannot tell which version to index, or cannot understand what a page is about, even a very fast site will struggle to be found.

That is why I treat performance optimization and technical SEO setup as one piece of work. I am a developer first, so I fix the causes in the code, database, and server, instead of only adding another plugin or setting.

The three numbers Google measures

These are Google's published "good" targets, known as Core Web Vitals.

Loading · LCP

Under 2.5 s

How quickly the main content of the page appears.

Response · INP

Under 200 ms

How quickly the page reacts when someone clicks or taps.

Stability · CLS

Under 0.1

How much the layout jumps around while the page loads.

Google checks these on real visits, and most of your visitors need a good experience, not just a few.

Two Tracks, One Result

Performance makes your site fast for people. SEO setup makes it clear to search engines. Here is what each one covers.

Performance Optimization

Make it fast, and keep it fast

  • Images: compression, modern formats like WebP, correct sizing, and lazy loading
  • Code: smaller, deferred JavaScript and CSS so pages show up sooner
  • Caching: browser, server, and application caching so pages are not rebuilt every time
  • Database: slow query review, indexing, and fixing repeated queries
  • Server: hosting configuration, compression, and CDN setup where it helps
  • Third-party scripts: removing or delaying tools that slow every page down
  • Mobile: tuning for phones and slower connections, where most visitors are

Technical SEO Setup

Make it easy to find and understand

  • Crawling and indexing: making sure your important pages can be found and are being indexed
  • Sitemap and robots.txt: set up cleanly, with only the pages you want included
  • Canonicals and redirects: one clear version of every page, with no duplicate or broken URLs
  • Titles, meta descriptions, and headings: unique, clear, and properly structured
  • Structured data: schema markup that helps search engines understand your pages
  • Tracking: Google Search Console and Analytics set up so you can see real results
  • Search and AI crawlers: making sure legitimate search and AI tools can read your key pages

Common Problems I Fix

What you notice, what is usually behind it, and how I deal with it.

Pages take a long time to appear

Caused by: Oversized images, render-blocking CSS and JavaScript, slow server response

Fix: Compress and resize images, defer non-critical scripts, add caching, tune the server

The layout jumps while loading

Caused by: Images without set dimensions, late-loading fonts, ads and embeds

Fix: Reserve space for media, load fonts properly, stabilize embedded content

Menus and buttons feel laggy

Caused by: Too much JavaScript running on the page at once

Fix: Remove unused code, split bundles, delay heavy scripts

Admin screens, reports, or APIs are slow

Caused by: Missing database indexes and the same query running again and again

Fix: Add indexes, remove repeated queries, cache results that rarely change

Important pages are missing from Google

Caused by: Blocked pages, duplicate URLs, missing sitemap, wrong canonical or noindex tags

Fix: Correct the directives, set canonical URLs, submit a clean sitemap

Search results show weak titles or no extras

Caused by: Missing or duplicate titles and descriptions, no structured data

Fix: Write unique titles and descriptions, add the right schema markup

How I Work

A clear process, with real measurements at the start and at the end.

  1. 1

    Measure

I test your site with trusted tools such as PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and Search Console, and record exactly where you stand today.

  2. 2

    Diagnose

I look for the real causes of slow pages and SEO gaps by checking the code, database, server, and how each page is built.

  3. 3

    Prioritize

You get a plain-language list of fixes, ordered by impact and effort, so the biggest improvements come first.

  4. 4

    Fix and test

Changes are made carefully, ideally on a test copy first, with a backup ready so your live site is never put at risk.

  5. 5

    Verify and report

I measure again, show you the before-and-after results, and set up tracking so you can keep watching progress yourself.

Optimization for the Stack You Use

Every technology has its own common bottlenecks. I know where to look in each one.

Laravel, CodeIgniter & PHP

  • Query tuning and eager loading
  • Config, route, and view caching
  • Redis caching and queues
  • OPcache and PHP settings

Node.js

  • Finding blocking code
  • Response caching and compression
  • Process management and scaling
  • Efficient API design

React, Vue & Next.js

  • Code splitting and lazy loading
  • Server-side rendering for crawlable pages
  • Smaller JavaScript bundles
  • Image and font handling

MySQL, PostgreSQL & MongoDB

  • Slow query analysis
  • Index design and cleanup
  • Rewriting heavy queries
  • Caching frequent results

What You Can Expect From Me

SEO is a field with a lot of empty promises. Here is my honest position.

What I will do

  • Measure before and after with real tools, and show you the results
  • Explain each change in plain language
  • Work carefully, with backups and testing
  • Set up tracking so you can see progress yourself
  • Tell you honestly when something will not help

What I will not do

  • Promise a number-one ranking. Nobody honestly can
  • Use paid links, spammy tricks, or anything that risks a penalty
  • Change your live site without a backup and a way back
  • Leave you with a list of fixes you do not understand

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Core Web Vitals, and why do they matter?

They are three measurements Google uses to judge how a page feels to real visitors: how fast the main content loads, how quickly the page responds, and how stable the layout is. Good scores help both your visitors and your search performance.

How long until I see results?

Speed improvements show up as soon as they go live. Search results take longer, often weeks or months, because search engines need time to re-crawl and re-evaluate your pages. It also depends on your competition.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Rankings depend on many things I do not control. What I can do is make sure your site is fast, technically sound, and easy for search engines to understand, which is the foundation everything else builds on.

Can you optimize a site that another developer built?

Yes. I start with an audit to see how the site is built and where the problems are. Then I tell you what can be improved and what would need bigger changes.

Will optimization break my website?

It should not. I take a backup first, test changes on a copy when possible, and release them carefully with a way back if something unexpected happens.

Do you write content and plan keywords?

My focus is the technical foundation: speed, crawling, indexing, page structure, and structured data. I can guide you on titles, descriptions, and page structure, but full content writing and keyword strategy are separate work.

What do you need from me to start?

Usually the website address, and access to your code or hosting. Access to Google Search Console and Analytics helps a lot too. If you do not have them yet, I can help you set them up.

Which tools do you use to measure results?

I mainly use Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, Google Search Console, and Chrome DevTools. They are free, widely trusted, and you can check the same numbers yourself.

Does this help with AI search tools too?

A clean technical setup helps. Fast, crawlable pages with clear structure and structured data are easier for both search engines and AI tools to read. I cannot promise that any AI tool will mention your site, but I can remove technical barriers.

Can you help after the optimization is finished?

Yes. Speed and SEO can slip over time as content and code change. I offer ongoing maintenance and support if you would like someone to keep an eye on it.
